Share your story

We are asking for people who have been involved in or been victims of violence to share their story with us.

National data around violence is sketchy at best. Much of UK violence is unreported to police. How many incidents are reported in the media versus how many make it through to a conviction with the police? We want to understand the local picture of violence so if you have been a victim of violence please use this link to complete our easy form to tell us your experiences. You can remain anonymous or give us permission to use your name. We will feature some of the stories in a future Somerset County Gazette issue.

We also want your questions. If you have experienced violence and want to pose a question to government, heads of police and others who could make a difference what would you ask? We have a conference set for October the 2nd and these people will be present so this is your opportunity to get your questions put to them.
