Job Description: Education Sales Co-ordinator
Stand Against Violence is looking for a dependable, self-motivated, organised and IT literate individual to help with daily charity management of client bookings and associated administration. This position is working from home the majority of the time with occasional travel to Taunton. The hours are of a flexible capacity according to the needs of the charity.
Reporting to: Operations Manager Hours: 22.5 hrs per week
Salary: £23,000 pro rata plus commission
Location of job: Home working and Taunton (Somerset)
Responsibility for others: Contractors

Key responsibility
To acquire new clients and coordinate delivery of services into various educational venues, manage existing clients and bookings effectively, work effectively with contractors to provide services. To assist with general charity administration and activities where necessary.
Duties and key responsibilities:
- Identifying and making contact with client opportunities through telephone and email including direct email marketing campaigns
- Keeping an up to date contact database and bookings record
- Secure bookings with clients and liaise with SAV-approved education contractors
- Keep bookings calendar up to date and be able to provide progress reports/updates to line manager
- Maintain good and regular relationships with clients and colleagues
- Carry out and coordinate requests for feedback and service improvement questionnaires including recording of data and evaluation
- To adhere to the organisations policies and procedures.
- Attend any required training and meetings
- Support work with marketing and PR services including social media
- Work to targets set by the board of trustees and/or the line manager
- Manage telephone and email enquiries - including in hours divert to suitable phone (may be a personal phone at no charge to the employee)
- Other administrative duties as required by the organisation
- Invoice clients, manage available grant funds for service delivery
- Approving contractor invoices and related administrative support
Essential:
- Good experience of working within the customer service and sales sector.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including customer care and communication skills with substantial experience of communicating effectively with a wide range of people using different media and in different situations
- Excellent listening skills and an empathic understanding
- Organised and pro-active with excellent self-management skills
- Excellent time management skills. Able to plan projects and meet targets set within the selected timeframe. This includes demonstrable experience of delegating effectively to both manage and develop work, across teams
- A flexible attitude to working
- Excellent IT skills, including word processing, use of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and general internet skills. An understanding of how technology can develop an organisation and improve its effectiveness is desirable
- Experience of management and maintenance of databases
Desirable:
- Experience of working in the education sector desirable but not essential.
- Good experience of the charity sector
- Interest in current affairs in particular relation to crime and violence in the UK and youth education
- Experience of SalesForce and Xero
