Social distancing doesn’t have to stop fundraising
Monday 13th July, 2020
In a time when people are even more vulnerable to the effects of violence, with people having no escape from abusers at home and young people more likely to be groomed online, it is vital that charities such as SAV make it through this uncertain time to mitigate these impacts of COVID-19 and keep people safe.
Small to medium charities are being hugely affected in the current climate. SAV’s work is vital in the recovery stages of this pandemic, and SAV are therefore grateful for any support that people can give.
Adam Fouracre, CEO and Founder of SAV said, “We are extremely grateful to supporters like Hannah who have given their efforts to support our work at this very challenging time. Hannah’s fundraising gives us hope for the future of the charity and the continued positive impact we can achieve in reducing societal violence. We hope that more people like Hannah will chose to fundraise for small charities such as ours.”
