The Patron's Lunch

Monday 13th June, 2016

Patrons lunch the mall
Afterpatrons lunch Adam and Ben winning the Queen's Award a couple of years back we were honoured to once again be invited to a royal occasion. On Sunday 12th June a small handful of trustees represented Stand Against Violence at the Patron's Lunch on The Mall, London.

Despite the tradition British summer weather (rain and overcast) we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it was a pleasure to spend the day with other charitable organisations and enjoy a delicious picnic hamper courtesy of M&S.

Her Majesty The Queen was in attendance and we joined in the singing of Happy Birthday as she was driven down The Mall to give a speech.

Eventually the sun did emerge and the ponchos were removed. It was a memorable day and one that we feel privileged to have attended.
