Stand Against Violence 2nd Fun Day at The Castle Green
Tuesday 4th August, 2015
The event, from 10am till 3:30pm, including circus activities, bouncy slide, animal petting, tombola, treasure hunt, crafts and a chance to paint a SAV star ran by Go Crete.

Kevin Smith Trustee for SAV said “It was an amazing day, the whole place was quite literally buzzing. I’d like to thank all the people that helped make the day what it was, particular thanks goes to Kelly Durdan of Taunton Sparkle, Dawn Stephenson and the Somerset County Gazette, Taunton Deane Borough Council, the stall holders and activity providers, the SAV buddies for there hard work on the day and of course ALL the kind people that attended and participated. After such a successful 2nd event we will be back next year, so what this space.”
The Fun Day raised over £1,000 for the Charity which is due to mark the 10th anniversary of murder of Taunton teenager Lloyd Fouracre this year on 25th September. Children and businesses are being invited to decorate stars which will be displayed side-by-side in a maze structure on the Castle Green.
