Santander Supports Violence Prevention Charity

Santander employees and SAV founder with match funding cheque

The annual Stand Against Violence (SAV) celebrity quiz night raised £1,350 last year. The sell-out event takes place in October at Vivary Golf Club hosted by non other than The Chase’s Paul Sinha. This year’s event was supported by Santander’s local branches in Bridgwater and Taunton who match funded evening bring the total raised to £2,700.

Adam Fouracre CEO of SAV said “it was a great evening” and would like to thank Santander for its continued support. Ann Whiterod Branch Director for Santander in Bridgwater said “we are delighted to be able to support such a great local charity”.

2015 marks the 10th anniversary of Lloyds Fourarce's murder. Stand Against Violence was set up 4 years ago to reduce and prevent future youth violence to discourage anti-social behaviour and to raise awareness of its consequences. A number of events have been planned to mark the 10th year.
