Let’s get SAV on the Taunton Monopoly board

Friday 21st April, 2017

Community Chest SAV
SAV on the Monopoly Board

We’re calling on all our supporters to vote for Stand Against Violence to get a spot on the brand new, Taunton-themed, official Monopoly board.

The makers behind the game, WINNING MOVES UK - under official license from Hasbro – announced the Taunton Monopoly board earlier this month.

The public has been voting for two weeks to see general landmarks to appear on the multi-coloured spaces made famous in the original London game. Every location from Mayfair to Park Lane is up for grabs, along with most of the Chance and Community Chest cards which will be heavily Taunton themed. Now a charity will get to land on the board too.

"One Taunton charity will get to appear on its very own space in the game," says Natasha Rebuck, from London-based WINNING MOVES UK.

“We have so far received the most wonderful suggestions and nominations,” adds Ms Rebuck. “Thank you to everyone in the town – and beyond – who have taken the time to send in these great suggestions and taken the idea if the game to their hearts.”

Amazon, The Works, WHSmiths, Waterstones and Argos have each confirmed they will be stocking the new game so it’s a great chance to put SAV on the map! The game will be ready to be released in time for this Christmas (2017) and will hit shop shelves this October.

To vote for SAV to grab a spot on the board please email “Stand Against Violence” to [email protected]   by 23.59pm this Sunday (23 April 2017)
